HAPPY BIRTHDAY DR. SEUSS

“Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.”

“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.”
 I dislike this quote
“Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened.”

“Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple.”

TWEET TWEET

Friends,

Do you have a naturalist or budding ornithologist in your group?  If so, they might be interested in participating in the Great Backyard Bird Count this weekend.  It can take as little as 15 minutes and they don't even need to leave home.  Of course, if they are interested they can spend a lot more time and / or count from other places such as Thatcher Woods or . . .

Here's the link:  http://www.birdsource.org/gbbc/howto.html

Please pass this on to the parents of any kiddo you think might be interested and / or add to your blog / newsletter.

If you would like I could even take some children at your recess time this morning . . . I have a few times I could join you.

HOT CHOCOLATE

Who: Each entire grade gathers to socialize, enjoy hot chocolate and cut out snowflakes which are then hung around the building. (We use Mann's recycled paper.) When: Wednesday morning, January 19th, any amount of time you can spare
Where: cafeteria
Why: Celebrating respect, responsibility & compassion shown by students
What ways you can help: The PBIS Team needs parents to serve cocoa and help cut and display snowflakes!

But, if you aren't able to make it we also need 3 parents willing to make the cocoa at home in one of our huge thermoses and bring it to Mann at morning drop-off. (We'll provide the cocoa mix and you get VIP treatment past the barricade at the front entrance.)
