Recipe Books!

Dear Parent(s),

This month the first grade team is working on "How To" writing samples. Over the next few weeks we will be practicing different exercises that target this skill. As our final project, we are each putting together a classroom recipe book. We are asking that you send your child in with his or her own favorite recipe, along with a picture of themselves.  Please have the recipes printed, so that it is easy for your child to read. We only have a few weeks before the break, so be sure to send them in no later than, December 3, 2010. Thank you for your participation and we look forward to all the yummy recipes! If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher.
